Hosts Martyn and Rebecca take deep dives into kids’ movies and TV shows that they are forced to watch on repeat thanks to Rebecca’s two young children. It’s a little about parenting and a lot about over-analyzing content that was never meant to be examined that closely. In honor of the subject matter, the podcast is PG, but it still touches on grown-up themes and ideas. Listeners need not be parents to enjoy.

This episode contains a Trigger Warning for discussion of struggles with fertility as well as death of a loved one. Because much of the plot of the movie centers around the latter, we cannot offer time stamps for skipping that subject matter. For the former, skip from 27:50 to 32:22 in order to bypass the discussion of infertility. Please note, Rebecca verbally issues the trigger warning earlier than the discussion actually begins. There will be a second verbal warning immediately before the actual discussion.
We're talking about Disney/Pixar's Up today! It takes us a while, but we do eventually get to the part where Carl go up. That's about as far as we make it, though, so tune in next week for the thrilling continuation!
